Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position requires onsite work at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Alberta, Virginia. You will be part of a vibrant and multidisciplinary team comprising physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists. With a full-time schedule primarily Monday through Friday, you will also be expected to cover rotating weekend shifts on occasion, ensuring comprehensive patient care around the clock.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical capabilities and limitations, setting personalized goals in alignment with their recovery needs.

• Develop and implement effective treatment programs based on physicians' directives and patient progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.

• Maintain meticulous records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring documentation aligns with therapeutic standards.

• Monitor the efficacy of treatments and provide feedback on patient outcomes, collaborating closely with physical therapy assistants and support staff to optimize care delivery.

• Engage in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient care strategies and enhance collaborative practices, with a strong focus on patient-centered outcomes.

• Contribute to departmental productivity standards and foster a positive work atmosphere conducive to professional growth and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
