Control System EIT/Coordinator

Responsibilities Check manufacturer drawings performing engineering calculations. Work on design layouts verifying code compliance quality checks meeting project schedules and budget as well as coordination of work with other disciplines as required. Typical design work would deal with power distribution, motor control, lighting, power system analysis, and grounding. Depending on project size job may require supervision of designer and CAD operators. Projects include power industrial and institutional facilities. Must be able to work among other disciplines and have good communication analytical and organizational skills. Candidate must also display attention to accuracy and be detail oriented. Participate in field reviews or construction observation. Familiarity with Piping and Instrument Diagrams, having professional work experience. Some travel may be involved. Perform all other duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Minimum of 1 to 4 years of experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm. Hands‑on experience using AutoCAD, Revit, AutoCAD 3D, and other drafting/designing software. Hands‑on experience designing SCADA systems, including schematics and loops. Experience with control panel design and panel wiring. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of Control System Coordinator and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression. Preference given to local candidates. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
