Shift Details

We are currently offering a night shift position with the following schedule:

Monday through Friday
9:45 PM - 6:15 AM
Call required every fourth weekend and holiday rotation
On-call from 7 AM Saturday to 11 PM Sunday
Floating may be required based on operational needs

Job Description

This position involves sterile processing duties and equipment management within a hospital setting. Responsibilities include:

Cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment such as pumps and channels based on established par levels.
Managing and maintaining sterile processing protocols.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field.
Required Certifications:
- BLS
- CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA
Preferred experience in an LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) setting.
Travel experience is mandatory.

Skills and Competencies

Ideal candidates will exhibit proficiency in the following areas:

Aseptic techniques
Biological and chemical indicators for sterilization
Manual cleaning and maintenance of various medical devices
Documentation and record-keeping of equipment usage and sterilization
Understanding of proper labeling and selection of wrapping materials
Experience with equipment such as Drills, Cystoscopes, Da Vinci Robotics, and Sterilizers

Facility and Patient Care Details

This position involves working with a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The daily census and specific patient diagnoses will vary.

Additional Information

All candidates will be subject to an orientation process. Current compliance modules must be completed prior to the start of the assignment. Ongoing training and support will be provided throughout the contract duration.
