Assistant Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our restaurant and bar team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading by example, and providing exceptional customer service. The Assistant Manager will support daily operations, help oversee staff, and ensure guests have an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities  

• Assist with the daily operations of the restaurant and bar.
• Supervise, coach, and support servers, bartenders, and other team members.
• Help train new employees and promote a positive team environment.
• Ensure excellent customer service and professionally resolve guest concerns.
• Assist with employee scheduling and shift coverage as needed.
• Monitor labor, food quality, cleanliness, and overall service standards.
• Open and close the restaurant, including cash handling and end-of-day procedures.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
• Maintain inventory levels and communicate supply needs.
• Work alongside the team during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications 

• Previous restaurant management or leadership experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while remaining organized.
• Excellent customer service skills and a professional attitude.
• Reliable, dependable, and willing to lead by example.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
