As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will help support a secure environment by managing access points, verifying credentials, monitoring entry activity, and assisting employees and visitors with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $22.10 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat06:00 AM - 02:00 PMSun06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, process visitors and contractors, and maintain accurate entry and exit records in accordance with site requirements. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established reporting channels. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, restricted areas, the business, and perimeter to help identify unauthorized activity or conditions requiring attention. Complete required reports, logs, and shift communications, and support Allied Universal and client procedures for the protection of personnel, property, and information. Minimum Requirements: At least two years of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
