Accounting Manager
Location: West Jordan UT (hybrid 1-2 days in office)
Pay: $90000-$100000

About the Role
NOW CFO is seeking an Accounting Manager to join our clients team a well-established growing company with a close-knit family-style culture. This is a true hands-on leadership role where youll run the day-to-day accounting function guide a small and supportive team and be a trusted partner to senior leadership. There is also an opportunity to grow into a Controller role.

Responsibilities

Own the month-end close
Prepare for the annual audit
Manage cash and complete bank and credit card reconciliations
Maintain fixed assets
Support tax preparation with the outside CPA firm
Handle multi-state sales tax
Manage property tax filings (UT WY ID)
Prepare annual reports and 1099s
Set up new stores including bank accounts and licenses
Serve as backup for AP payroll and sales

Must-Haves

Bachelors degree in Accounting
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Cash flow analysis experience
Working knowledge of tax law
Understanding of payment processes
Positive attitude

Nice-to-Haves

Food industry experience
