Accountant

Randstad is supporting a leading wealth management firm who is looking to hire an Accountant to join their team. In this position, you would report to the Director, Financial & Regulatory Reporting and would be responsible for the monthly closing leading to an annual external audit and the filing of an annual tax return. This position will perform the monthly close, including reconciliation of contribution and grant detail and dividend and fee activity. In addition, the position will perform and assist monthly with employee matching account postings, tax form preparation, alternative investment valuation and various other ad hoc duties. You will primarily be responsible for the reconciliation of supporting schedules used to prepare monthly financial statements. Responsibilities

• Prepare/design database reporting for monthly reconciliations
• Prepare reconciliations as part of the annual external financial audit
• Research employee matching gift account postings
• Assist in ongoing tax reporting
• Assist in annual audit reporting
• Assist in quarterly valuation reporting for Alternative Investments
• Support and participate in organizational initiatives and projects, as needed
