About the Role:

Catarsys Family Counseling is looking for a compassionate and driven Associate Mental Health Therapist to join our growing team in La Mirada, CA. Responsibilities:

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to a diverse caseload of clients
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state and agency standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic, client-centered care
• Participate in regular clinical supervision to support licensure hours and professional development
• Apply evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR or trauma-informed approaches
• Uphold ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Social Work, or related field
• Active AMFT, ACSW, or APCC registration with the California BBS
• Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, or families preferred
• Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and treatment planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Empathetic, culturally competent, and client-focused approach to care
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working collaboratively within a team
