We provide our global teams with the resources needed to achieve individual career goals while helping to take science a step beyond by developing solutions for some of the world’s toughest challenges, like protecting the environment, making sure our food is safe or helping find cures for cancer. *A Day in the Life: * We are seeking a skilled Welder II where you'll contribute to producing high-quality laboratory equipment used by pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology firms, and research institutions. * Apply expertise in MIG and TIG welding to fabricate precision components according to engineering specifications. * Work collaboratively with team members to maintain quality standards. * Address technical challenges. * Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. * Support other groups with tasks as needed * Demonstrate excellent craftsmanship and attention to detail, ensuring each product meets our rigorous quality standards. xmvmafu *Keys to Success: * *Education * * High School Diploma/ GED required * Welding certification highly preferred *Experience * * One (1) year of hands-on welding experience with MIG and TIG processes preferred. * Experience with quality control processes and first piece production review preferred * Experience in cGMP environment preferred *Knowledge, Skills, Abilities * * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and engineering specifications * Demonstrated proficiency in setting up and operating welding equipment * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards * Visual acuity for detailed product assembly and inspection * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Ability to complete required documentation including router sheets and non-conforming tickets * Demonstrated ability to identify and report quality issues promptly * Flexibility to work overtime as needed *Physical Requirements / Work Environment * * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and handle bulky parts * Ability to stand, bend, and reach throughout shift5c143e31-5e48-4549-b638-05792d185386
