This resource will be responsible for overseeing implementation of the clinical and environment laboratory information management system(s) (LIMS), ensuring project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across different departments to gather requirements, create and maintain documentation, provide RFP input, plan project timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress.This is a hybrid telework position.Active PMP or VITA PMD cert requiredDay To DayClearly define roles and responsibilities, drive constructive and productive participation by all involved.Aggressively manage project tasks assuring work progresses according to schedule.Collect requirements from a broad set of users and combining them into a comprehensive statement of requirements.Prepare documentation, obtain approval, and track all changes in project scope.Communicate project changes and events to stakeholders and senior management.Setting project goals and developing plans to meet those goalsCoordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.Manage multiple associated projects throughout the project lifetime to ensure success as defined by adherence to scope, budget, and timeline.Conduct regular project meetings and ensure comprehensive documentation of project progress and outcomes.Provides timely status reports to reflect project status, issues, and risks.Proactive identification of risks and impacts, and collaboration with customer and project team to address concerns.The position consults with the project team on all aspects of project management and ensures compliance with Commonwealth project management policies, standards, and guidelines.This is a hybrid telework position.Please do not re-submit anyone that interviewed for 742251Local Richmond candidates ONLY.
