Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $ 2517.00 Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • 13-week contract • 36 hours per week guaranteed • Block scheduling • Every other weekend required with 3 weekend shifts per contract • Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays • Float required based on staffing and unit needs, primarily within ICUs only • Patient ratio of 1:2-3 for critical care; 1:4-6 if floated • Unit includes 15 MICU beds, 12 SICU beds, and 13 CCU beds • Patient population includes adults and geriatrics • Patient mix includes vents, post surgical, cardiac post cath, and neuro/stroke post TNK • PCTs/CNAs available on unit for RN support • Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more • Charting system: Epic (experience required) • Special equipment: CVVHD • Scrub color: Navy blue • 1.5 years of acute care experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • First-time travelers accepted • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Stroke CEUs • Active NJ or Compact nursing license required • Required skills include arterial line management, ventilator management, central line care, titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips, blood product administration, continuous IV sedation, and additional critical care competencies Facility: This health system operates a large network of hospitals and healthcare facilities offering a full range of critical care services.
