Site Material Operations Manager

Eaton\u2019s ES GEIS CHD division is currently seeking a Site Material Operations Manager. This role is onsite at our Amarillo, TX facility. Relocation within the United States is provided for this opportunity. \n\nBuilt in 1981, the Amarillo facility, with approximately 150 team members, is a thriving iron foundry that serves our customers with a variety of parts, including conduits, covers and fittings.\n\nThe expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. \n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\nThe Material Operations Manager is responsible for managing the internal materials \u0026 scheduling processes required inside an the Amarillo facility in order to drive the maximum adherence to the Master Production Schedule provided by the Network Planning team through the SIOP process.\n\n \nThis role is responsible for the following core processes:\n\n * Scheduling production in the short term horizon based on the S\u0026OE (0-3 Months) processes\n * Maintaining Inventory Accuracy through accurate cycle counting\n * Movement of materials through the facility\n * Internal receipts, storage, distribution and transportation\n * Manage logistics activities for the site\n\n\n\n \nIn this role you will:\n\n * Managing materials flow and transactions inventory to support the plant\u2019s operations by deploying lean material flow.\n * Administration of Indirect and MRO purchasing function according to policies and practices determined by Eaton standards, to include vendor relations.\n * Generating short-term production scheduling aligned to the plan defined by the Network\n * Monitoring execution of production schedule defined by the Network (monitor execution of the production plan)\n * Escalation of material availability to the COE and Network teams\n * Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan\n * Execute shipment schedule aligned with the customer priority dates aligned with the network and customer service team.\n * Champion and deploy continuous improvement leveraging tools such as internal assessments ( MMA,OPA), visual management, standard work and value stream mapping\n * Maintaining target inventory levels (DOH) and meeting OTD goals for both internal and external customers and overall freight targets (including premium freight) aligned with the plan defined by the network\n * Oversee plant owned data health activities including but not limited to routings and SAP planning parameter health, MRO, shipping and receiving, part movements, production scheduling\n * Assist in identification and analyzing of cost out projects and opportunities\n * This role is a point of contact to escalations related to execution of the overall SIOP plan \n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\nBasic (Required) Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution.\n * Minimum five (5) years of combined experience in Materials, Operations and/or Supply Chain Management within a manufacturing environment.\n * Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or team leadership experience.\n * Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position.
