The Vacaville Reporter (a proud subsidiary of MediaNews Group) is looking for sharp, relationship-driven sales professionals to transition their skills into B2B Multimedia Advertising. If you know how to talk to people, read a customer's needs, and close a sale, we can teach you the media business.

What You Will Do:

• Build Relationships: Connect with regional business owners to understand their goals and introduce them to our cutting-edge digital and print advertising solutions
• Consult & Close: Conduct needs analyses, handle objections, and design custom marketing strategies that fit your clients' budgets
• Manage a Portfolio: Keep track of your accounts, analyze sales metrics, and look for ways to help your clients scale their advertising
• Explore Your Community: Travel within your assigned local territory to meet business owners face-to-face (no more being stuck behind a counter)

What You Will Bring:

• The "Hunter" Mentality: You are self-motivated, love smashing sales goals, and aren't afraid to strike up a conversation
• Sales DNA: A proven track record of hitting quotas or driving revenue (whether that's big-ticket retail, wireless sales, automotive, or hospitality)
• Top-Tier Communication: Strong presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Structure & Drive: Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple client priorities. Digital marketing or advertising experience is a plus, but not required-we will train the right attitude

Benefits and Compensation:

The hourly range is $18.00 - $19.00 + cell phone stipend, and commission (OTE $50,000-$60,000+). Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility). Conditions of Employment:

• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and have reliable transportation
• Travel - This position entails occasional driving for work assignments, in-person training sessions and/or meetings. The employee will be responsible for transporting themselves between different sites as needed
• Must be available for shift work. May be required to work various hours for coverage outside of normal business hours
