Java Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and hands-on Java Developer with a strong background in Java and the Spring Framework to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and resilient systems. The role will focus on mission-critical financial systems and trading applications, requiring strong technical expertise, collaboration across global teams, and the ability to deliver robust solutions supporting financial markets.


Key Responsibilities
• Develop, enhance, and maintain high-performance, low-latency trading and financial systems using Core Java and the Spring Framework.
• Design and implement multithreaded, concurrent, and scalable solutions for mission-critical applications.
• Architect and optimize SQL queries and work with caching solutions such as MemSQL to support fast data retrieval and system efficiency.
• Collaborate with global teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Develop and support cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms to deploy, manage, and monitor applications.
• Contribute to the architecture and development of distributed systems for capital markets, with an emphasis on debt markets and financial operations.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and promote software development best practices.
• Support and troubleshoot production trading systems to maintain high availability and low latency.
• Evaluate technological advancements in cloud platforms, Java, and capital markets and recommend improvements and innovations.


Required Qualifications
• 6+ years of hands-on experience developing robust Java applications.
• 4+ years of experience with the Spring Framework, including Spring Core, Spring Boot, and associated projects.
• Experience designing and developing multithreaded, concurrent, scalable, and distributed applications.
• Experience with SQL query development and optimization.
• Experience working with caching solutions such as MemSQL.
• Experience developing or supporting high-performance and low-latency applications.
• Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, Azure, or equivalent cloud platforms.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with experience collaborating across global teams.
