$18.00–$18.50/hour | Paid Weekly | Full-Time | Paid Training

No Parts Experience? No Marine Experience? We'll Train You.

Seacoast Distributors is hiring a Customer Service & Counter Sales Associate for our Lindenhurst location.

You don't need to know boats. You don't need marine industry experience. And you don't need to already be a parts expert.

We'll provide paid training and teach you the products.

If you have experience in customer service, retail, counter sales, auto parts, hardware, home improvement, order entry, warehouse operations, or another customer-facing environment, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

You'll work directly with our customers and team to help get them the products and parts they need.

Your day will include:

• Helping walk-in customers and will-call pickups
• Answering customer phone calls
• Helping customers identify products and parts
• Entering customer orders
• Preparing invoices and quotes
• Processing returns and order adjustments
• Tracking open customer orders
• Working with our warehouse and sales teams
• Learning our products and becoming a knowledgeable resource for customers

Don't know marine parts yet? That's okay. We'll train you.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys helping customers
• Communicates well with people
• Is comfortable using a computer and entering information accurately
• Is dependable and shows up when scheduled
• Enjoys learning new things
• Can work effectively in a busy team environment
• Is willing to learn our products and systems
• Can safely lift up to 50 pounds when needed

Previous marine or parts experience is NOT required.

Your Experience May Be a Great Fit

• Retail or customer service
• Auto parts
• Hardware or home improvement
• Counter sales
• Customer support
• Order entry
• Shipping or receiving
• Warehouse or distribution
• Inventory
• Sales support

You may already have many of the skills we're looking for.

Full-Time Daytime Schedule

Two consecutive days off - Sunday & Monday

Typical peak-season schedule:

• Tuesday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM–3:00 PM

Schedule may vary based on seasonal business needs.
