Working under the supervision of a pharmacist, you'll support inpatient pharmacy operations through medication preparation, distribution, inventory management, and pharmacy technology support. Schedule Looking for longer shifts and more days off? This position offers a rotating schedule of four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM or 10:30 AM-9:00 PM), every other weekend and only 4 holidays annually . What You'll Do Prepare, package, label, and deliver medications. Compound sterile products using aseptic technique and USP 797 standards. Process patient admissions, discharges, and transfers. Manage medication inventory, including stocking, ordering, and expiration monitoring. Handle controlled substances and assist with discrepancy resolution. Support automated dispensing cabinets and other pharmacy technologies. Answer calls and assist patients, families, nurses, and healthcare providers. Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or HSED required Pharmacy Technician training program preferred 1+ year of pharmacy or healthcare experience preferred Wisconsin Pharmacy Technician Registration required prior to starting Need to register?
