Overview
Radiology Tech – CT Tech opportunity in Sonora, California. Travel assignment starting 11/09/2026 for a 13-week duration in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting. Weekly pay is $2,423–$2,511 per week with guaranteed 40 hours. Evening shift (5x8) with start around 1:30 PM, hours may vary to meet departmental needs. CT experience is required, with cross-training in X-ray and OR preferred. This is a travel temporary assignment managed by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images used for diagnostic interpretation
- Perform CT examinations and, as needed, general radiography and fluoroscopy under supervision
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images to the radiologist and appropriate endpoints
- Maintain accurate patient records, image data, and related billing information
- Ensure image quality and patient safety, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manage supply inventory
- Assess and care for patients from adolescence through geriatrics, documenting and communicating findings as appropriate

Requirements
- CA Radiologic Technologist license (RT) in the state of practice; ARRT certification: RT (R)(CT)(ARRT) or RT (R)(ARRT) Required
- Advanced CT certification: Required in OR and HI; preferred in CA
- Fluoroscopy license in CA required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Venipuncture certification required if administering contrast materials
- EPIC experience required
- Education: Associate degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred)
- Experience: At least two years of recent field experience
- Current nursing license per state of assignment (as noted in requirements)
