ARDMS Echo Sonographer - Cardiac
MLR Healthcare is seeking an experienced Echo Sonographer to join a well-established hospital system in South Carolina. In this role, you will utilize advanced medical equipment that employs sound waves to create real-time images of the heart, assisting physicians in diagnosing heart diseases.
Schedule: Days/Nights
Pay: Competitive
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating images of the heart, cardiac chambers, valves, and vessels for the purpose of assessing heart function and diagnosing heart ailments
- Work closely with cardiologists, often performing the technical aspects of the examinations, evaluating the findings, and reporting them to the cardiologist
- Responsible for interviewing the patients and reviewing their medical records so that you may adapt your sonographic techniques as necessity dictates
Requirements:
- Bachelor or Associate degree in echocardiography or diagnostic cardiac sonography
- Registered through ARDMS
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS)
- BLS or ACLS
