Overview
Radiology Tech – Mammography, in Portland, OR, starts 10/26/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment. Weekly pay ranges from $2,632 to $2,827, with guaranteed hours of 36 per week. Shift is 5x8 days, typically 8:00 AM–4:30 PM. This travel position is in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting and requires active licensure and specialized mammography credentialing.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and screening mammography examinations with proper patient positioning and technique.
- Prepare and operate mammography equipment, ensure high-quality images, and assist Radiologist with intricate examinations and breast biopsies.
- Educate patients about the exam, maintain patient privacy and comfort, and adhere to infection control and safety guidelines.
- Collect pertinent patient information, document exam details, and provide post-procedure preparation instructions to care areas.
- Maintain accurate records and follow department protocol, escalating questions or issues to senior staff as needed.
- May float to additional sites as required to support workflow.

Requirements
- Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License: Required in OR
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Radiography (R) and Mammography (M): Required in OR
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
- Education: Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology: Required
- Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; current BLS certification; and a current nursing license per the state of assignment
- Ability to perform and support mammography procedures in a hospital setting; availability for shift schedule as listed
