POSITION SUMMARY

Under general supervision, student employee is responsible for all campus traffic direction and student cross walk duties. Please note: 3 references required when applying for this position.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform traffic control as necessary Able to work assigned shifts, which may include day, evening, night, weekend, or holiday shift hours Communicate effectively and interact with others while handling various situations and problem solving May receive and handle all types of telephone calls and e-mails requiring immediate attention May dispatch calls and relay information to appropriate units to ensure prompt response to calls and to best utilize departmental and university resources Transmit vital information in emergency and non-emergency situations to appropriate Public Safety units, university departments, and/or outside agencies Must (occasionally) lift/carry and/or push/pull up to 100 lbs.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University or a High School student at Bob Jones Academy Good communications skills Education: High School graduate or GED Experience

Microsoft Word Microsoft Access Microsoft Excel Web-based programs
