Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, determine necessary diagnostic tests, and develop customized care strategies
• Diagnose and manage acute, chronic, or episodic health issues in collaboration with a physician or autonomously based on your credentials
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding health maintenance, disease prevention, and management
• Prescribe medications and initiate therapeutic interventions within the scope of your practice
• Engage in follow-ups and chronic care management
• Work collaboratively across teams to deliver cohesive, holistic care
• Maintain precise and thorough documentation using electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or equivalent Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licenses and Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in California
• Nationally recognized certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or willingness to obtain these within 90 days)
