Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Stockton, CA
Position Summary

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a well-established outpatient cardiology practice in Stockton, CA . This opportunity offers the chance to work alongside experienced physicians in a collaborative, patient-focused environment while providing care for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluate and manage patients with acute and chronic cardiology conditions.
Perform comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
Order, interpret, and review diagnostic studies.
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
Prescribe and furnish medications in accordance with standardized procedures.
Coordinate hospital admissions, discharges, and follow-up care.
Perform designated clinical procedures after demonstrating competency.
Recognize urgent clinical situations and initiate appropriate interventions.
Assist with patient education, telephone triage, anticoagulation management, and diagnostic procedures as needed.
Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
Active California PA or NP license.
Current ACLS certification.
California Furnishing Number (required for experienced NPs).
DEA registration (Schedule II-V).
Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 annually (DOE) + performance bonus
