RN Unit Manager
Shift: Monday-Friday 7a-3:30pm
About the Role:
As an integral member of the Absolut Care of Gasport team, we are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our dynamic healthcare organization. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of dedicated healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality patient care to our patients in Gasport, NY. Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional patient care while managing a team of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants
Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care transitions and effective communication
Mentor and coach staff to achieve personal and professional growth
Conduct performance evaluations, address performance issues, and develop corrective action plans as needed
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and statistics
Requirements:
Current Registered Nurse license in the state of New York
Minimum of [ Minimum Years of Experience ] years of experience in a similar role
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
Familiarity with electronic medical records and other healthcare software systems
Commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for mentoring and developing others
