About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MS/Tele Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years minimum License: Valid Registered Nurse license Certifications: BCLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Management of dysrhythmias Description: RTO after booking is not allowed. Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may result in cancellation. Minimum experience required is 2 years. Unit will accept first-time travelers. Locals may apply with a rate difference. Ratios are 5:1, with the possibility of a grid up to 6:1. A maximum of 36 hours can be offered. Candidates must work 3 weekends within every 6 weeks. Floating may be required within the service line. The patient population includes pulmonary, general medical, and patients with longer lengths of stay. Special procedures include care for trach patients, COPD, and asthma. Candidates must have experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tubes. Unit systems include EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR. Candidates must be open to floating within/near the facility as necessary. All skill sets must demonstrate bi-pap/c-pap management and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Additional interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, and pharmacy. Modules for pre-start requirements must be completed online.
