Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: 1 year License: NY license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT R, CCI RCIS (preferred) Must-Have: - Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab skills - Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience - Familiarity with Cardiac Implant Closure Device - Experience in Cardiac Stent Placement - Proficient in Diagnostic Catheterizations for Adults - Ability to perform IABP Placement/Removal - Competency in interpreting dysrhythmias - Skilled in Left heart catheterization - Knowledge in Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) - Experience with Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) - Proficient in Right heart catheterization - Experience with Rotablator atherectomy - Understanding of Scrub Procedures - Equipment setup skills - Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias - Room circulator experience - Maintaining a sterile field - Sterile technique application Description: The Cath Lab Tech will work in a fast-paced environment. Hours are Monday through Friday from 07:00 to 17:30. The position requires on-call availability. Candidates should have experience in both diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain sterile techniques and assist with various procedures. This role includes responsibilities for equipment setup and patient safety. Candidates must be able to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and react accordingly. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for the success of this role. The position accepts first-time travelers and locals who meet distance requirements.
