As an Infant Toddler Preschool Teacher, you will lead a classroom of 10-14 children aged 18-36 months, fostering early development through the Reggio Emilia approach. You will collaborate on curriculum development and ensure a nurturing, engaging environment while maintaining strong communication with parents. This role reports directly to the Center Director.
Responsibilities
- Manage classroom environment for 18-36 month olds
- Communicate regularly with parents about child progress
- Implement Reggio Emilia teaching philosophy
- Collaborate on curriculum development
- Maintain orderly and safe classroom management
Required Qualifications
- 12 core Early Childhood Education units
- Additional 3 units in Infant/Toddler Development
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in early childhood education
- CPR and First Aid Certification
We have 3 locations in Petaluma. Our original location is downtown, second on 6 acres on the eastside of town and our third is located in the county in a unique historic building. We truly want to create an environment where the children love to learn, feel safe and loved. Each school has a perfectly matched space for the each child and staff.
