Picker/Packer

We're hiring a Picker/Packer to help ensure products are accurately counted, properly packaged, clearly labeled, and ready for processing. In this role, you'll inspect materials and finished packages to confirm they meet packing specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Mark and label containers, container tags, and products for identification and tracking
• Measure, weigh, and count products/materials to ensure order accuracy
• Examine and inspect containers, materials, and products to verify packing specifications are met
• Record product, packaging, and order details on required forms
• Remove completed items from the line and identify/remove defective products or materials as needed
• Seal containers/materials using glues, fasteners, and basic hand tools
• Load materials and products into package processing equipment
• Assemble, line, and pad cartons, crates, and containers using hand tools to protect product during handling
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning containers, materials, supplies, and work areas

Qualifications & Skills

• Ability to count accurately and follow packing specifications
• Comfortable using basic hand tools (e.g., tools used for sealing, assembling, and padding packages)
• Able to inspect items for quality and notice defects or packaging issues
• Capable of completing paperwork/forms clearly and consistently
• Dependable and able to work in a process-driven, detail-oriented environment
