Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A retail outpatient pharmacy is seeking a full-time pharmacist to provide coverage during a planned leave of absence. This role involves typical outpatient pharmacy duties in a fast-paced environment, supporting patient care through medication management, supervising technicians, and counseling patients. Spanish-speaking candidates are highly encouraged to apply.

Location:

• Ellicott City, MD (Primary site: Belair-Edison Family Health Center)
• Additional work at Yard 56 Pharmacy, 5525 Eastern Avenue Ste. 104, Baltimore, MD

Schedule:

• Day shift, Monday through Saturday
• Per diem coverage: 1-2 days per week as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy technicians and workflow efficiently
• Provide patient counseling and education
• Administer vaccines and immunizations
• Support adherence to 340B drug pricing program guidelines (preferred)
• Utilize ScriptPro software (training provided)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent retail pharmacy experience required
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Spanish language skills are a strong advantage
• Knowledge of 340B program highly preferred
• PharmD and valid Maryland pharmacist license required

This contract position starts with orientation dates available on September 23, October 14, or October 28. Candidates should be prepared to submit an updated resume, a completed skills checklist, one retail manager or supervisor reference, and a copy of their Maryland pharmacist license.
