Kelly Pediatric Therapy is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher to join a collaborative charter school team in the 19146 area of Philadelphia. This full-time opportunity begins August 1 and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact by helping students with diverse learning needs reach their academic, social, and behavioral goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals.
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student success.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation of services and goals.
• Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Differentiate instruction to meet a variety of learning styles and abilities.
• Utilize evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to support student achievement.
• Maintain compliance with all federal, state, district, and school policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education Teaching Certification (required).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education or a related field.
• Experience working with students with diverse learning and behavioral needs preferred.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to obtain all required state and district clearances.
