Senior Accountant

Our client, a leading organization in the Green Bay area, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the accounting and financial reporting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Senior Accountant Location: Green Bay, WI, US (Hybrid) Pay Range: $35 - $44 per hour (Depends on Experience) What's the Job? Participate in month-end and year-end close processes, including preparing internal reports and journal entries. Perform in-depth variance analysis to identify and explain discrepancies. Prepare reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Review and post journal entries during period-end close procedures. Assess and improve control procedures to enhance financial accuracy and compliance. What's Needed? Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field. Four to six years of accounting or auditing experience. Experience with ERP systems, such as Oracle, is preferred. Public accounting experience is a plus.
