Details Emergency Department serving all patient age groups, including pediatric and adult patients 31-bed unit Uses EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR communication methods Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM to 7:30 AM) Every other weekend required Requirements Active RN license (NH state or compact) required ACLS, BLS certifications required NIHSS certification required Trauma Nurse Certification Course (TNCC) required within 1 year of start PALS and TNCC preferred Graduate from an accredited nursing school Minimum 2 years of ER experience required Previous charge nurse experience required Prior travel nursing experience required EPIC experience required Skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration Experience with emergency medications and intubation Experience with neurological, cardiovascular, psychiatric, and respiratory emergencies Experience with pediatric emergency care Additional Information Assess, intervene, and stabilize pediatric and adult patients presenting with a variety of illnesses, injuries, or trauma Perform triage duties as part of daily responsibilities Complete a competency-based orientation program to become proficient in the Emergency Services patient population No specific scrub color required First-time travelers are not considered for this role Former employees of any facility associated with this health system are not eligible for consideration, regardless of separation length Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for the local rate American Traveler Job ID P-750165.
