Maintenance TechnicianCity of Industry, CA - Turnbull Canyon Rd locationCompensation IncludesStarting Pay Rate of $34.27 - 41.14/hourAvailable Shift3rd: 10:00pm - 6:00am, Monday - FridayOverviewThe Maintenance Technician is responsible for proactively maintaining production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.ResponsibilitiesConducts machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance serviceProvides emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePrepares and sets up machinery for scheduled production runsPerforms mechanic skills including but not limited to, mechanical, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machinesPerforms electrical troubleshooting and repair on various equipment and building maintenanceReads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsWill use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing dutiesSafely operate and repair forkliftComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasQualificationsMinimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance mechanic/technician role in a manufacturing environmentElectrical training/experience with 480 3 phases/machine controlsExperience with VFD Drives and PLCs preferredBackground with manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures requiredEligible to work in the United StatesSuccessful completion of pre-employment background and drug screenWork overtime as requiredAbility perform the essential functions of the job with or without accommodationExperience operating forklift equipmentAbility to successfully multitask in a fast pace environmentThe commitment to stay safe and to continue to learn and developSatisfactorily completes training courses as determined by management#INDQSR
