Financial Analyst

Job Title: Financial Analyst (Part-time)
Work Location: 10960 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles, CA, 90024
Duration: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: Will work 3, 7 hour shifts (There is some flexibility in the schedule within the parameters of Tues-Fri 8am - 5pm. For planning purposes, this schedule should remain consistent for the duration of the placement).


Supports the MarComm Department by ensuring contracts, purchase orders, accounts payable, and accounts receivable are reviewed and processed accurately and timely in accordance with UC policies. Demonstrates exceptional customer service and consistently embodies the C-ICARE principles. Proactively anticipates and resolves contract and accounting issues, exercises sound judgment, and represents the department with integrity, professionalism, and diplomacy. Maintains confidentiality and exercises appropriate discretion when handling contracts, financial information, personnel-related information, and other sensitive departmental records. Works independently and collaboratively across all levels and disciplines, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage multiple and diverse responsibilities.



Experience Needed:
3 years of experience as a Financial Analyst
Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Internet, and other computer software programs used by the department.
Experience using business software including Workday, EPSI and Workfront a plus.
Ability to function at a high level of efficiency with effectiveness and attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
Experienced in performing while frequently interrupted or distracted by conflicting demands.
