Steel Yard Worker
Location: Lancaster, PA
Shift: 6:00am - 5:00pm Monday -Friday.
Pay: $19-$22/hr.
Description:
- Cannonball Recruiting is currently seeking to fill a Yard Jockey position for a Steel Fabrication company in Lancaster, PA. This position requires a driver's license and forklift experience. Candidates must be willing to learn and follow directions. Candidate must also be willing to following OSHA requirements.
Requirements:
- Construction and forklift experience preferred (experience with structural steel is ideal)
- Strong personal character and integrity
- Dependable and self-motivated
- Willing to ask questions and learn
- Team-oriented with good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to solve problems and complete tasks independently
- Commitment to confidentiality and safety standards
Job Duties:
- Loading/unloading trailers of streel using a forklift safely and efficiently
- Manage shipping, receiving, and related documentation
- Keep yard clean and neat
- Help with loading of jobs to be delivered
- Pushing paint carts into the paint booth,
- Keeping the yard clean and organized
- Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
