Restaurant Line Cook – Salad and Sandwich Location: PLATES - Torrance (CA), 21503 Hawthorne Blvd, Torrance, California, United States of America Job Summary As a Cold Side Line Cook, you will prepare, produce, and serve salads and sandwiches in accordance with Urban Plates recipes and procedures, ensuring visually appealing and high‑quality food. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and quality control of the cold side station. Follow food safety and sanitation standards. Assist in inventory, receipt, and storage of produce. Collaborate with kitchen staff to meet service timing and guest satisfaction. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in restaurant kitchen preferred. Strong emphasis on food safety and quality standards. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills.
