Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring TNCC certification and 2+ years of ED experience.

• Emergency Department with 24 beds
• Patient population includes geriatric adult and some pediatric cases
• Mixed medical patients with older population and varying acuity
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses ultrasound Bellmont Transfuser Baxter IV pumps Glidescope BD IV products and GE monitors in every room
• EHR system is MedHost EDIS
• Shift schedule is 3x12s evenings 3p-3:30a
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (AZ or Compact)
• Current certifications: TNCC and BLS (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience required
• Trauma and STEMI experience required
• Associate's degree (AA) required
• Active Nursys licensure verification required at time of consideration

Additional Information

• Provide emergency care to a mixed patient population with varying acuity levels
• Located in a Joint Commission accredited, Certified Chest Pain Center and Level III Trauma facility
• Approachable team player who takes initiative and assists colleagues during idle time is preferred
• Black scrubs required as part of dress code
• Weekly orientation provided
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
• Must reside 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for travel rate; local candidates within this radius may be considered at the local rate
