Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and experienced Line Cooks to join the kitchen team. Line Cooks are responsible for preparing menu items according to established recipes and maintaining their assigned station throughout service.

The ideal candidate is professional, disciplined, dependable, and able to work efficiently under pressure. Candidates must be comfortable following direction, working as part of a team, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and consistently following established recipes and kitchen procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to established recipes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Confidently manage and maintain an assigned kitchen station.
• Ensure all products at the station are properly prepared, dated, labeled, covered, stored, and rotated.
• Complete proper mise en place and station preparation before service.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout the shift.
• Follow direction from the Head Chef and Sous Chef.
• Work efficiently and accurately during busy and high-volume service periods.
• Maintain consistent food quality, portioning, preparation, and presentation.
• Communicate effectively with other kitchen team members.
• Assist other stations and kitchen staff when needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Minimize food waste and use products appropriately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Maintain proper organization of food products, equipment, and supplies.
• Follow established kitchen schedules and procedures.
• Adapt to changing service needs and continuously improve performance.
• Maintain a positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude.
• Work together with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Previous line cook or professional kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to confidently manage an assigned station.
• Ability to follow established recipes and cooking procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and food quality.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
• Professional and positive attitude.
• Ability to take direction and work effectively as part of a team.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workstation.
• Must be flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Schedule & Compensation

• Operating schedule: 7 days per week, approximately 11:30 AM-10:00 PM.
• Line Cook pay range: $20-$27 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
• Paid vacation, increasing with tenure.
• Performance-based bonus opportunities.
