SUPERVISORY CONTRACT SPECIALIST

Contracts And Acquisition Management
You will be responsible for all contracts issued under the authority of the Echelon IV or Echelon III Command.
You will be accountable for the Acquisition Department's overall effectiveness and compliance with the applicable laws, regulations, policies and procedures.
You will serve as the Command's principal consultant on contractual matters and senior contracting approval authority.
You will provide expert advice to senior level officials, military and or civilian personnel from DON, DOD, other Federal Agencies and senior industry management officials on matters of procurement, policy or best practices.
You will represent the Command in various high level conferences, meetings and or panel sessions on matters related to NAVFAC product and services.
You will serve as the Acquisition Community Manager for all Contract Specialists in the Command Area of Responsibility ensuring the right people with the right skills are in place for successful execution of acquisition responsibilities.
