Position Summary
The Senior Director of Human Resources will be responsible for designing, scaling, and executing an operationally focused people strategy across the enterprise. Partnering directly with the executive leadership team and field operations, this role drives workforce performance, mitigates employment-related risk, and builds organizational capability to support a predominantly hourly workforce.

Key Responsibilities
- Executive Leadership & Business Partnership: Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on labor cost management, workforce strategy, and organizational effectiveness. Align HR initiatives directly with same-store performance and margin optimization.
- HR Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing, geographically dispersed HR organization. Establish clear service-level expectations and operational KPIs (e.g., turnover reduction, time-to-fill).
- High-Volume Talent Strategy: Design and implement scalable recruiting and retention frameworks to eliminate vacancy-driven operational risks across a massive hourly and field-management workforce.
- Employee Relations & Litigation Risk Management: Provide executive oversight for complex employee relations, investigations, and high-risk claims. Partner closely with legal counsel to proactively manage and mitigate wage-and-hour, discrimination, and multi-state compliance exposure.
- Compliance & Regulatory Leadership: Ensure enterprise-wide compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws across all 17 operating jurisdictions, overseeing wage-and-hour audits, EEO-1 filings, and agency investigations.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Proven QSR / Hospitality Scale: Deep, executive-level HR leadership experience within a large-scale hospitality, retail, or quick-service restaurant platform (ideally supporting hundreds of multi-unit locations).
- Multi-State Compliance Expert: Mastery of navigating complex, multi-jurisdictional employment laws and managing corporate litigation risks.
- Operationally Minded: You don't just run HR programs—you understand how turnover affects restaurant margins and how effective training drives unit profitability.
