The following responsibilities, opportunities, and requirements for this position are as follows: Responsibilities & Opportunities: Responsible for corporate, flow-through (partnerships/S-corporations), individual, and trust tax compliance – Both Federal and multistate. Forward thinker who can anticipate client needs and plan for quarterly estimates and year‑end planning. Confidence in leading client communications and establishing relationships with existing clients. Lead staff members in performing tax review and compliance work. Develop and mentor tax associates by leading training sessions and providing constructive feedback. Manage special projects, including transaction work, audits/notices, and internal firm‑wide initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting (minimum) Certified Public Accountant license 6+ years of public accounting experience Manufacturing, construction, distribution, real estate, or service industry experience a plus Experience in CCH tax software (Engagement, Axcess, Document, etc.) a plus Why Vrakas? Individual salaries are determined based on multiple factors, including the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
