Make a meaningful difference as a Special Education professional supporting a third-grade student in a homebound setting. This rewarding contract position offers an immediate start and extends through the ESY period (end date to be confirmed), with the potential to continue through the entire upcoming school year from August 12th, 2026, to May 22nd, 2027.

As the dedicated educator for this role, you'll receive 6 hours per week starting the week of August 17th—comprising 4 instructional hours and 2 compensatory services hours—working exclusively onsite with a life skills student. This unique opportunity allows you to build strong rapport and deliver personalized, impactful instruction in a one-on-one environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Special Education Teaching certification
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in special education, ideally within a life skills or homebound program
• Understanding of instructional strategies for diverse learners
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable teaching style
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and school team
