Registered Nurse Positions

This is a 90 day announcement that will be used for filling Registered Nurse Positions Domiciliary facilities/services located within the Sheridan VA Health Care System, Sheridan, Wyoming. Qualified applicants will be referred to the hiring manager beginning 4-7-2026 and thereafter as vacancies arise until the closing date of 6/30/2026. The Registered Nurse will deliver fundamental knowledge-based care to assigned clients while developing technical skills. Assesses, plans, implements, & evaluates care based on age-specific components. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, & customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care. Follows procedures per established policies & guidelines. Influences care outcomes by collaborating w/ members of the interdisciplinary team.

Duties and Responsibilities include but ARE NOT limited to:

• The Nurse Inpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based care to patients with oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants as appropriate to the setting
• The nurse will assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and enhance outcomes utilization
• This nurse integrates knowledge, skills, abilities, and judgment and is self-directed in goal setting for managing complex situations Validates understanding of the rationale for care processes and decisions
• Questions clinical practices for the purpose of providing evidence-based care
• The nurse will demonstrate the ability to cope with and manage competing priorities
• The nurse demonstrates competence in practice and decision-making, deliberate planning, and critical thinking skills
• Other duties as assigned

Pay: Competitive salary, regular salary increases, potential for performance awards
