Johnson Service Group (JSG) is actively seeking Painters for an assignment in Wichita.Job Description:Read engineering drawings to identify the tasks to be performed in preparation for the application of chemicals and paint to aircraft surface.Apply safety absorbent to hangar floor and spray aircraft surface with stripper to remove all paint.Assist with moving aircraft to appropriate bay.Mask, unmask, and re-mask appropriate areas of aircraft surface to ensure complete protection of windows and other areas susceptible to damage.Remove stripper, excess paint, and/or contaminants using water, solvents, air blower, and/or brushes.Sand, grind, and buff polished areas of aircraft surface, apply putty to body dents, and replace sealer in preparation for the application of primer and paint.Apply Alodine to aircraft surface using spray equipment.Perform touch-up work as required.Document work performed per Inspection Procedures Manual (IPM)Perform above tasks in support of production, flight test, and other outside areas as required.Assist other employees in the performance of their duties within area(s) of qualification.Requirements:Minimum of 5 years’ experienceMust have: large parts to full body aircraft paint experience#D500JSG offers medical, dental, vision, life insurance options, short-term disability, 401(k), weekly pay, and more.
