Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license (or in the process of obtaining; alternative authorizations not accepted)
• Minimum of one year of classroom experience in a special education setting
• Strong teamwork skills and adaptability within a professional education environment
• Ability to maintain clear, proactive communication with colleagues, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized instruction and support in alignment with IEP goals for a high school resource caseload
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom culture that promotes student growth and confidence
• Collaborate effectively with general education teachers, related service providers, and administrators
• Monitor progress, conduct ongoing assessments, and maintain accurate, timely documentation
• Engage in professional development and actively contribute to team planning meetings
• Uphold compliance standards for local, state, and federal special education regulations
