Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives as a Special Education Teacher in a moderate to severe classroom at the elementary level. This full-time, onsite opportunity supports students at a school near Englewood, CO, with a service window extending through May 28, 2027. You’ll work within a dynamic educational environment focusing on individualized instruction and inclusive support for students with significant needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field
• Must possess an active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license
• Demonstrated experience teaching students with moderate to severe disabilities strongly preferred
• Solid knowledge of IEP process, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Dedication to collaboration with staff, administration, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and adapt instructional experiences to meet diverse learner needs
• Develop, update, and execute Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with state requirements
• Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Lead, mentor, and collaborate with paraprofessionals and other support staff
• Monitor student progress, adjust strategies, and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in professional development and ongoing training sessions
