We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (Rehabilitation) to join our team at Hadley Pointe for Nursing Rehab and Care in Hadley, Massachusetts, United States. As a valued member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a crucial role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain their independence.
About the Role:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist (Rehabilitation) at Hadley Pointe for Nursing Rehab and Care, you will work with patients who have communication and swallowing disorders resulting from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, neurological diseases, and other conditions. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans, conduct assessments, and provide therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills, cognitive function, and overall quality of life.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients with communication and swallowing disorders to identify areas of strength and weakness
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patient goals and needs
Conduct therapy sessions, including speech, language, and swallowing therapy, to help patients achieve maximum recovery
Collaborate with other members of the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and maintain accurate records
Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology

Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Massachusetts
