Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing, production scheduling, and reporting. This role requires a flexible approach to shift work, as you will be responsible for managing production across multiple shifts to ensure continuous and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations, ensuring that production goals and quality standards are met consistently
• Develop and implement production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer demands
• Monitor production processes and identify areas for improvement in productivity, quality, and safety
• Manage and motivate a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards
• Collaborate with other departments, including quality control, maintenance, and logistics, to streamline operations
• Prepare and analyze production reports, providing insights and recommendations to upper management
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices
• Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and performance
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
• Assist in budgeting and cost control measures related to production activities
• Stay updated on industry trends and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge

QualificationsRequired:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
• Proven track record in production scheduling and optimization
• Strong proficiency in manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced knowledge of production management software and reporting tools
• Outstanding leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends as required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and reporting
