Network Support Engineer Location: Niles, IL (Onsite)
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 We are seeking a Network Support Engineer to join a growing manufacturing organization and play a key role in supporting and improving its IT infrastructure. This position is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, from network and server administration to cybersecurity and escalated technical support. Responsibilities

This position is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats, from network and server administration to cybersecurity and escalated technical support. Responsibilities
- Provide Level II/III technical support for users and infrastructure.
- Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, VMware, and Hyper-V environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including switches, VLANs, DNS, and DHCP.
- Respond to cybersecurity incidents and support security best practices.
- Support Microsoft 365 administration and user management.
- Assist with IT infrastructure projects, including server, domain, and acquisition integrations.
- Maintain reliable, secure, and efficient network and server operations.
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure, systems administration, or network support experience.
- Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Hands-on experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V.
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs.
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and end-user technical issues.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Microsoft 365 and Azure experience.
- Fortinet firewall or Mimecast experience.
- PowerShell scripting.
- Experience with acquisitions, domain migrations, or IT integrations.
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience.
- Relevant Microsoft, VMware, or CompTIA certifications.
