Medical Assistant

Job Description Southwest Dermatology & Vein has an immediate opening for a full-time Medical Assistant at our Southwest Austin location (Southwest Medical Village). We have served the greater Austin area for over 40 years and are growing with new locations in Buda, Dripping Springs, and Manor. Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, PTO, and 401k with match. Responsibilities Room patients and enter information into EMA (our EMR system). Answer phones, return patient callbacks, and perform triage. Prepare patients for pre‑op and schedule surgeries. Assist physicians with office visits, general dermatology, Mohs surgery, and leg vein treatments. Clean and sterilize instruments and assist with various office tasks as needed. Work in the Austin office and occasionally cover other locations (Austin‑Westgate, Buda, Dripping Springs, Manor) for vacation, sick leave, and training coverage. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant (preferred). Other certifications accepted. Experience in dermatology or surgical assistance is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills. Capacity to work a Monday to Friday schedule with no weekends.
