Production Team Lead – Hardware Department

Location: Methuen, MA

Pay: $20.00–$26.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional Saturdays (6:00 AM–11:00 AM)

We are seeking a motivated Production Team Lead to oversee a team of six employees in our Hardware Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced manufacturing leader or someone who has demonstrated strong leadership potential and is ready to take the next step in their career.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and support a team of production employees.
• Promote and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure quality standards and customer requirements are consistently met.
• Inspect work throughout the hardware installation process.
• Monitor production schedules and help achieve daily production goals.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with other departments to resolve them.
• Hold employees accountable while fostering a respectful team environment.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and workflow.
• Train new employees and support ongoing development.
• Communicate effectively with management and the second-shift supervisor to ensure a smooth transition between shifts.

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing experience is required.
• Experience leading or mentoring employees is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read manufacturing prints/blueprints.
• Experience with PEM hardware installation or Haeger hardware machines is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Good problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office.
• Dependable, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Hardware Department

This position involves inserting PEM hardware into sheet metal components using Haeger hardware insertion machines. Experience with sheet metal fabrication or hardware insertion is helpful but not required for candidates with strong manufacturing backgrounds and leadership ability.
